Located on the southeastern end of the San Fernando Valley, Glendale is the third largest city in Los Angeles County and home to Bob’s Big Boy restaurant chain and Baskin-Robbins, one of the country’s favorite brands of ice cream. Several large corporations have headquarters located in the city of Glendale, including the Swiss food multinational Nestle and International House of Pancakes. Software giants, Panda Security and Nero AG have their principal offices in Glendale.

Glendale has also served as a production center to many of the country’s major studios, including Dream Works Animation, The Walt Disney Company, Marvel Animation Studios, and Disney’s KABC-TV. The Americana at Brand is a large outdoor shopping complex, built in 2008, featuring 75 retail shops, restaurants and a movie theater as well as an animated, musical water fountain centrally located in a beautifully landscaped park.
